Call / text staff member one-by-one to ascertain schedule availability and try to get the caregiver to accept an assignment to as many open, unfilled shifts as possible
Aim to complete the schedule by close of business on Wednesdays for the following 2 full weeks
Ensure that client shifts are filled with caregivers who have matching attributes (i.e. willing to work with dogs in the home, willing to work with a client who smokes, etc.)
Process pre-shift electronic Covid health screening to ensure caregivers are fit to work
Collect updated caregivers documents as they expire (CPR certification, CNA license, etc.)
Build rapport with all caregivers to encourage work assignments
Participate in conducting staff surveys and other ad-hoc requests from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
1–3 years of scheduling, HR coordination, or relevant admin experience in a healthcare or medical setting
Familiar with medical terminology and health insurance basics
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
Experience using scheduling systems
