About the role

  • Call / text staff member one-by-one to ascertain schedule availability and try to get the caregiver to accept an assignment to as many open, unfilled shifts as possible
  • Aim to complete the schedule by close of business on Wednesdays for the following 2 full weeks
  • Ensure that client shifts are filled with caregivers who have matching attributes (i.e. willing to work with dogs in the home, willing to work with a client who smokes, etc.)
  • Process pre-shift electronic Covid health screening to ensure caregivers are fit to work
  • Collect updated caregivers documents as they expire (CPR certification, CNA license, etc.)
  • Build rapport with all caregivers to encourage work assignments
  • Participate in conducting staff surveys and other ad-hoc requests from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1–3 years of scheduling, HR coordination, or relevant admin experience in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Familiar with medical terminology and health insurance basics
  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Experience using scheduling systems
