About the role

  • Drive Deel's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting, generating cross-sell opportunities within existing customer accounts through targeted outreach
  • Learn from the sales team and help build out the Sales Playbook and Tech Stack
  • Educate and develop leads via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns
  • Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of lead generation processes, support marketing activities and prospect touch-points, and manage handoff to Account Executives
  • Generate email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team, perform market research to identify potential customers, and qualify leads by assessing their approach to onboarding

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work autonomously and self source solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong growth mindset
  • Ability to write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert
  • Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Experience with HR or Fintech companies preferred
  • Experience at a fast-growing startup preferred
  • Previous experience working in a remote & distributed team preferred
  • Native/fluent in English + French
