About the role

  • Translate design concepts into functional, high-quality code, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineers to create responsive, high-performance, and visually engaging web applications
  • Participate in the entire product development lifecycle from discovery and planning to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve Deel’s products
  • Actively troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs to maintain DeelSpeed and ensure a seamless, white-glove user experience across front-end touchpoints

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack developer
  • Excellent JavaScript knowledge in front end libraries, especially React.js (class and functional components and hooks)
  • Master in JavaScript syntax, and in front end essentials such as HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with Node.js and at least one other server side language such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP or .Net
  • Strong experience with state management packages such as Mobx and Redux
  • Deep understanding of designing, writing, running, maintaining and debugging applications across the whole stack in one or more of the technologies listed above
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Legal authorization to work in your country of residence (app asks for country and work authorization)
