About the role

  • Senior/Lead Frontend Developer is invited to join EIS as a part of the team developing the new insurance platform from scratch. Our mission statement is to ensure the world by bringing up a lean, scalable insurance platform.
  • EIS provides digital-ready, customer-centered core insurance systems that enable insurers to innovate with products, channels, and customer engagement.
  • Join us and be part of a friendly and experienced team responsible for the entire company’s frontend technologies and approaches.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Frontend development
  • Strong HTML5, CSS, LESS/Similar, Responsive design and tools
  • JavaScript (we target the latest browsers), TypeScript (v5+), Node.js
  • Strong React understanding and skills
  • React ecosystem experience (routing such as React Router, state management such as MobX and RxJS)
  • Ability to work independently with offshore and onshore teams
  • Experience in developing reusable React components according to the provided Figma designs would be an advantage
  • Experience with setting up or adjusting build & dev tools such as Webpack, Lerna/Nx/Turborepo, and ESLint would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Backend would be an advantage (you won’t be required to write it, but it would help you see the big picture better).
