About the role

  • Deel is an all-in-one payroll and HR platform supporting global teams in 150+ countries
  • Work as part of cross-functional teams (Backend Engineers, Product, Designers, QA)
  • Participate in product planning from discovery through deployment
  • Collaborate to develop robust features, APIs, and continuously improve products
  • Find and fix bugs quickly and ensure customers receive a white-glove experience
  • Drive meaningful impact on global payroll, benefits, and HR infrastructure

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React.js (Class Components, Functional Components, React Hooks)
  • Strong knowledge of state management tools
  • Expert-level HTML and CSS skills
  • Firm understanding of server-side languages (Node.js on the back-end)
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 5+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack developer
  • Ability to advise on best practices and act as a thought leader
  • Experience participating in product planning across the SDLC
  • Strong collaboration, communication, ownership, and business-focused approach
  • Genuine Care and customer-focused mindset
  • Extra brownie points: experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on major cloud vendors
  • Extra brownie points: pixel-perfect UI/visual design skills
  • Extra brownie points: experience in distributed teams and remote work
