About the role

  • Provide hands-on support throughout the entire employee lifecycle for Deel's EOR employees
  • Be the in-house HR expert for the assigned region, handling complex people-related matters related to the EOR employee lifecycle
  • Own and drive EOR employee lifecycle: onboarding, off-boarding, orientation, employee support, performance management, payroll, benefits
  • Serve as first point of contact for HR related queries and provide high-level employee support
  • Perform admin support: generation of reports, employment verification letters, HRIS administration
  • Provide high-touch local experience where required and help product and operations teams create scalable systems
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement HR initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of HR administrative experience managing the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to termination) in a high-volume (500+) fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation
  • Located in India and knowledge of labor law and employment regulations in this location
  • HR qualifications or certifications are a valuable asset
  • International HR experience in the APAC region and beyond is a competitive advantage
  • Experience working in start-up environments is highly valued
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, scope and resolve complex and sensitive HR issues
  • Data driven: challenge status quo and strive to improve response times and employee experience
  • Experience using JIRA, Zendesk, Intercom or other ticketing tools is a plus
