About the role

  • Deel is the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, supporting workers in 150+ countries
  • Role: Art Director – Events & Activations to elevate Deel’s brand presence across events, activations and field marketing
  • Own the visual and experiential direction of event programs and partner with Field Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing and external collaborators
  • Lead creative concepting and vision for event concepts, themes and brand experiences
  • Provide art direction and creative leadership to internal creatives, freelancers, agencies and production partners
  • Oversee content creation and asset development for signage, spatial design, motion, video, interactive elements and swag
  • Champion experiential innovation across IRL, virtual and hybrid formats, exploring AR/VR and AI-driven interactions
  • Manage end-to-end creative process from brief to execution, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and on vision

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in creative roles, with a strong focus on events, experiential marketing, and activations (agency or in-house)
  • A standout portfolio that showcases concept-led event work, brand activations, and immersive experiences that drive business results
  • Proven ability to lead creative teams and external vendors, while rolling up your sleeves to contribute hands-on
  • Deep understanding of spatial design, storytelling through experience, and audience-first thinking
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g. AR/VR, generative AI) and how they can enhance brand experiences
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with marketing, sales, and production teams
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools
  • A courageous, boundary-pushing creative mindset—with the discipline to bring ideas to life with excellence
