Communicate capture strategy to the growth team and ensure effective implementation.
Identify and recruit subcontractors to help the company successfully bid on projects.
Conduct research to determine the best price and the best slate of services for the bid.
Meet with prospective customers to answer questions and discuss potential contracting vehicles.
Close deals and bring in new business for the company at optimal pricing.
Obtain appropriate NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, and other agreements for new business deals.
Understand every aspect of a business opportunity including scope, resources, schedule impact, competition, pricing, and budgets.
Work with proposal developers to ensure top-notch proposals and answer proposal questions.
Establish and build relationships with prospective and existing clients and partner companies.
Develop a plan for regular contact with prospective client targets (e.g., Call Plan).
Study key competitors, perform competitive analysis, and recommend strategies for "ghosting" competition.
Requirements
Active Clearance preferred.
BA/BS preferred.
5+ years of exceptional successful experience in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Homeland Security, and/or Defense Health Agency (DHA) market growth areas with particular interest in digital modernization, cloud, cyber, amd ITSM.
In depth knowledge of best practices using Shipley or similar Framework.
In depth knowledge of the typical Government Contracting capture and proposal process.
Evidence of successful capture experience in the target government agency.
Specific market expansion successful at growing SDVOSB/Small business company.
Excellent writing skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
