About the role
- Leads the planning, analysis, design, development, deployment, and evaluation of learning materials
- Works collaboratively with operations and delivery teammates to develop and maintain materials
- Designs and develops curriculum-level learning systems
- Conducts needs assessment
- Develops training plans, design documents, and analysis documentation
- Selects, modifies, or creates a design and development model appropriate for a given project
- Designs and develops instructional materials; creates interactive, effective, engaging course content for both instructor-led training (ILT) and eLearning courses
- Consults/collaborates with subject matter experts
- Develops appropriate performance objectives to guide the development of training and performance support materials and tools
- Conducts/Creates/Records audio files as needed
- Develops complete self-paced online course using course authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline
- Creates tests and assessments within the Learning Management System (LMS) assessment center to validate/certify knowledge of eLearning content
- Evaluates and assesses instruction and its impact
- Creates project documentation including design templates, training plans, need analyses, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, train-the-trainer, and pilot materials
- Modifies existing instructional materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis
- Computer skills as required.
