Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, with a focus on NDAs, commercial negotiations, transactional support, and internal legal administration
Helping Sales and DealDesk teams with RFP processes and providing respective legal, corporate, and privacy information
Creating, vetting, and refining clear, legally sound commercial contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, partner agreement etc.) to ensure they align with DataRobot’s objectives and legal standards
Supporting commercial transactions by clear, objective driven negotiation of contract terms with external parties (clients, vendors, partners)
Overseeing the formal execution/signing process to ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are obtained correctly
Managing a centralised legal repository of all executed contracts, a centralised contract content log system, and associated documentation
Serving as a crucial link between various internal departments (Legal, Sales, Finance, Procurement) to ensure all contractual requirements are understood and met
Developing and implementing automation for internal processes and procedures to standardize and streamline the contract management workflow
Requirements
5+ years experience in a dedicated Contracts Management, Paralegal, or Commercial Legal function
Demonstrable experience in independently leading negotiations for NDAs, and negotiating commercial partner agreements
Excellent working knowledge of the contract lifecycle and contract management best practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate complex legal and commercial issues to non-legal stakeholders
Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., IACCM/World Commerce & Contracting certification)
Understanding of UK and EU data protection law as they relate to commercial contracts
Proficiency with SalesForce and IronClad.
Written and verbal skills in an additional language are a plus.
