• Utilise technical BA skills and SDLC expertise to deliver systems integration and data-centric solutions

• About the Role
• As Systems Engineer - Linux, your role is to manage and maintain the Linux/Unix server environment and to provide proactive and reactive support services. The managed services team(s) are engaged by our customers to maintain the availability and reliability of a their core infrastructure. You will be using Automation tools such as Ansible on a day-to-day basis and may be required to assist customers with Application rollouts via Ansible at times.
• In conjunction with the rest of the Managed Services team, you will be accountable for the timely action of customer service requests, within agreed service levels, whilst maintaining accurate and timely updates to technical documentation and ticket notes. You will also be required to operate under the guidelines of defined processes and procedures and are expected to ensure effective and professional communication with all relevant parties.
• What you’ll do
• As Systems Engineer - Linux, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Use Ansible to perform day to day activities
• Use & modify existing Ansible playbooks to perform Application rollouts in customer environments
• Meet client SLAs for system availability, uptime and reliability
• Proactively manage and monitor the system environment for continuing business support
• Perform role responsibilities and duties during business hours, with occasional after-hours and on-call as required
• Perform regular Project Services work and work at a Design/Architecture level.

Systems Engineer, Linux

Analyst

• The Capacity Analyst is responsible for assisting the Capacity Manager to ensure there is adequate IT Capacity to meet required levels of service. This role involves conducting capacity analysis and reporting for client's infrastructure systems, servers, databases, storage systems, datacenter space, and other services.
• Facilitate data collection, consolidation and quality assurance of data for capacity reporting. Ensure the data collection process is streamlined and reviewed for improvements.
• Provide capacity reports timely, with accurate reporting of all capacity related issues to key stakeholders and clients.
• Perform basic analysis on capacity data.
• Follow-up with internal teams regarding capacity requests.
• Assist the Capacity Managers with data collections and analyses, and other tasks as required. Manage client requests for information or adhoc reports.
• Ensure that the client’s services and infrastructure can deliver the agreed capacity and
• performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Take reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for applying effective analysis, design, programming and testing skills to produce software systems.
