About the role
- Smartly (a Datacom company) provides payroll and people-management software for over 20,000 Kiwi businesses.
- Optimise Smartly’s go-to-market technology and processes to enable data-driven decision making and automation of lead-to-revenue processes.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Marketing, data engineering, platform owners, and cross-functional teams to enhance the revenue tech stack and drive efficiencies.
- Ensure marketing activity connects to customer processes: implement lead scoring models, lead routing rules, and marketing automation workflows.
- Maintain a data dictionary, build integration and data pipeline requirements, and support customer-facing projects with data lineage and governance.
- Support campaign tracking: campaign data associations, URLs, tracking codes.
- Define and track KPIs (lead volume, CPL, MQLs, pipeline created, ROI) and build dashboards in HubSpot or Metabase.
- Perform attribution modeling to understand which channels and campaigns drive revenue.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of marketing funnel metrics (MQL, SQL, pipeline, CAC, LTV, ROI).
- Ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports in CRM or BI tools.
- Knowledge of attribution models and campaign performance tracking.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle metrics and revenue forecasting.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot a bonus).
- Experience with SQL for querying data (Python for data manipulation is a bonus).
- Understanding of integrations technology like APIs and webhooks is a plus.
- Experience in lead scoring, routing, and nurturing workflows.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing alignment processes.
- Ability to document and improve operational processes.
- Experience with AB testing and experiment design.
- Ability to translate technical data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable collaborating with marketing, sales, and leadership teams.
