About the role
- Define and direct the technical strategy for largest and important accounts, working with the Enterprise Account Executive
- Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks
- Implement the technical strategy in the account and align strategies around Databricks solutions
- Build a movement of technical champions within the account
- Work with sales team and technical peers to drive business outcomes
- Coordinate with hands-on resources to build proofs of concept and demonstrate Databricks products
- Maximize success through value selling and technical leadership
Requirements
- Pre-sales professional with successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven
- Experience working very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts
- Proficiency at establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within the account
- Ability to form relationships with executives and influencers
- Ability to present a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers
- Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud (Azure & AWS)
- Understanding of relevance and application of ML & AI within enterprise use cases
- Experience in value selling, technical account management and technical leadership
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java
- Nice to have: Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure Certification
