About the role

  • Building and developing relationships with customers, responding timely and accurately to quotation requests, and processing customer orders
  • Navigating and responding to customer requirements through government contract vehicles
  • Developing new accounts through prospecting efforts
  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipeline and forecast using Sales Force
  • Participating in and embracing the CyKor learning environment, fueling ongoing career development through training in technologies and sales
  • Achieving or exceeding realistic sales quota goals
  • Building strong partnerships with our values manufacturer and vendor partners
  • Fostering successful cross-department relationships to provide a value to the customer and their mission
  • Partnering with our highly knowledgeable engineering staff to generate quotes and to design customized solutions based on each client’s needs
  • Developing and effectively communicating full understanding of our varied products, services, and solution offerings, including our core areas of expertise – Cybersecurity, Mobility, Data Center, and Enterprise Infrastructure

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a competitive “hunter” mentality
  • Minimum 1 year inside sales or sales support experience; experience selling software, data center, networking, and security solutions (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness to our customers and partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Thrives working with others in a team environment
  • Ability to think strategically and adjust to meet business needs
  • Willingness to expand your technological knowledge by participating in training opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
