Partner with multiple Aetna business units, the plan sponsor and vendors to design wellness program initiatives that promote preventive health and healthy lifestyle behavior changes
Client-based work alongside plan sponsor’s Benefit and Employee Wellness department with primary work location in Miami and periodic travel to plan sponsor worksites
Design, facilitate and evaluate effectiveness of wellbeing programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite
Lead planning and implementation of onsite biometric screenings; coordinate with screening vendor and plan sponsor wellness team including wellness champions
Monitor participation and implement strategies to increase engagement
Provide personalized guidance to employees on healthy lifestyle choices and refer to available health resources and Aetna Care Management programs
Establish rapport with plan sponsors and engage leaders in data-driven decision making
Support wellbeing champion network and offer guidance and trainings to employer leadership and employee champions
Recommend and coordinate wellbeing activities, community programs, and vendor services; assess effectiveness
Regularly analyze and present health assessment, claim utilization, employee survey, biometric screenings, and wellness incentive program data
Utilize preventive guidelines and health promotion strategies to improve overall customer health
Conduct research on health promotion and disease prevention topics as required
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nutritionist, pharmacist, behavioral clinician, health educators, doctors/providers, wellbeing service providers)
Serve as subject matter expert on wellbeing and health improvement opportunities and provide sales partner support and training
Lead in-person or virtual presentations to promote health education and wellbeing initiatives
Build trusting relationships with customers, internal partners and external vendors; travel to multiple plan sponsor locations for onsite events and annual benefits/health fairs
Requirements
2-3 years of experience encouraging healthy lifestyle behavior changes in wellness areas including nutrition, physical activity, weight management, stress management, tobacco cessation
2-3 years of experience creating and developing workplace wellbeing programs
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, et al.)
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Willing to seek and maintain wellness-based certifications, such as those provided by Wellness Alliance, Chapman Institute or other health and wellness certified organizations
Must live in Miami or within commutable distance to customer work site locations
Must have reliable transportation
Must have the ability to travel up to 35% of the time
Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with group medical insurance products and coverage options
Preferred: Certified Wellness Practitioner or equivalent credentials
Education: Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree in Public Health or equivalent work experience
