About the role

  • Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Provides a high level of support to our Client Relationship Management staff including: Issue and forward evidence of insurance to lending institutions
  • Order and follow up on policy change endorsements including review for accuracy
  • Check incoming policy change endorsements, and if accurate, forward to insured
  • Update client data in our Agency Management System
  • Manage small book of business
  • Check policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare policies delivery to clients.
  • Maintain an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response
  • Input/maintain data on account management system, download and ancillary systems as required.
  • Cross Training on processes and systems as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in personal lines insurance or a related administrative/customer service role; agency experience preferred
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred; or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver professional, courteous support
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn agency management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support across functions
  • Ability to take direction, follow established procedures, and implement processes effectively
  • Proactive in learning and applying new insurance concepts and skills
  • Hybrid work schedule; onsite at the designated office location a minimum of three days per week
