About the role

  • This position is responsible for daily program oversight, including staff recruitment and retention, problem solving, and fostering collaboration both within and across departments.
  • Engage directly with state partners to ensure alignment with program goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Responsible for the management and supervision of the MLTSS Care Management staff.
  • Oversee Care Managers (CM)s who are assigned to members in concentrated geographic areas.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements for the MLTSS Program.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the state of New Jersey (Specifically – Bergen, Passaic, Morris, or Essex County)
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time to meet and support staff anywhere in the state of New Jersey.
  • Must have one of the following active unrestricted NJ State Licensure RN, LSW, or LCSW
  • 2-5 years of experience in care management (preferred experience with the MLTSS program), behavioral health, or integrated health care settings.
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid and Medicare, including experience with MLTSS FIDE SNP membership.
  • 1-2 years of previous leadership experience in a healthcare or managed care environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, analyze data to identify trends and gaps, and take proactive action to improve member outcomes and program performance
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring
  • Experience collaborating with state agencies and external regulators
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
