About the role

  • Prepare entity or region credit reporting, planning and forecasting
  • Analyse credit exposures of an entity or region of a business segment
  • Support trade finance and credit management to support the business
  • Perform credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts in line with Corporate Policy
  • Standardize processes within entities or across a region where possible
  • Develop and produce regional or global reports to monitor Accounts Receivable performance against approved credit limits
  • Prepare metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting and ad hoc credit analysis as required
  • Partner with sales/commercial functions to provide credit/financial support for growth
  • Encourage cross business segment communication on credit issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize customer experience
  • Support implementation of Corporate Credit Policies and ensure audit compliance
  • Lead special projects to improve Accounts Receivable credit systems, reporting and processes
  • Implement and manage reporting and analysis of credit risk strategies and receivables health metrics
  • Audit credit notes raised by the business to ensure compliance
  • Manage internal and external audit reviews of the department
  • Interpret credit policy, guidelines and procedures with respect to compliance and performance reporting
  • Understand, implement and monitor PPSR Strategy

Requirements

  • Financial acumen – Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions

  • Credit Management – Assess customer creditworthiness and risk; set and evaluate credit limits; analyse payment performance

  • Experience with trade finance and credit management skills
  • Ability to interpret and implement Corporate Credit Policies and PPSR Strategy
  • Audit experience – manage internal and external audit reviews and audit of credit notes
  • Ability to partner with sales/commercial functions and stakeholders
