About the role
- Perform remote eDiscovery data collections with occasional travel for onsite imaging projects.
- Design and implement defensible collection strategies across various data sources.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data catalog and evidence management system.
- Research and evaluate emerging eDiscovery technologies and methodologies.
- Maintain strict data hygiene and chain of custody protocols for all evidence.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within eDiscovery workflows.
- Develop and optimize alerting mechanisms for eDiscovery operations.
- Create comprehensive documentation and standardized operating procedures.
- Collaborate with legal and IT teams on complex data preservation matters.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in eDiscovery, data governance or related fields.
- Strong understanding of EDRM framework and eDiscovery lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience collecting data from enterprise platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Box).
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Experience with forensic acquisition/imaging tools (e.g. Cellebrite, FTK, EnCase).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
- Experience with cloud-based eDiscovery platforms (e.g. RelOne).
- Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
- Background in cybersecurity or digital forensics.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Forensics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
