About the role
- Obsess over customers: don’t start with channels, start with people
- Use non-traditional, scrappy growth methods to get insights and traction (Reddit, TikTok Lives, niche food communities, IRL hustles)
- Launch experiments in days, not months — speed is everything
- Build small wins into scalable growth playbooks, only after traction is proven
- Measure growth results constantly: CAC, retention, referrals — prove what works
- Partner with leadership to turn insights into new acquisition engines
- Report to CEO
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of growth marketing experience at high-growth DTC/e-commerce consumer brands
- Hands-on track record of delivering results quickly (tell us: how fast, how many customers, what budget?)
- Deep comfort with scrappy grassroots growth tactics — from setting up multiple Reddit accounts to spinning up TikTok campaigns in a week
- Doesn’t think in terms of marketing channels first — thinks about where customers actually are
- Competitive, results-obsessed, thrives on urgency
- Must love the category. Must love meat.
