About the role

  • Support senior product managers in the discovery, definition, and execution of Cribl’s platform roadmap — from infrastructure services to shared components used across products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, documentation, and support teams to clarify, document, and improve how Cribl’s platform services are designed, deployed, and operated.
  • Manage inbound feature requests ensuring feedback from customers and internal teams is organized, evaluated, and communicated clearly.
  • Contribute to product research and analysis, helping define roadmap, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for platform features.
  • Stay close to our users, learning how platform capabilities impact customer experiences across Cribl’s product portfolio.
  • Help drive operational excellence, assisting with tracking progress, identifying dependencies, and ensuring platform initiatives ship smoothly.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, engineering, technical program management, or a related technical role.
  • Strong interest in platform infrastructure, cloud services, and developer experience.
  • Solid understanding (or curiosity to learn) about SaaS, hybrid, and containerized deployment models — e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-native architectures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you can translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working with data to inform decisions and validate assumptions.
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
  • A willingness to learn from senior PMs, ask great questions, and take ownership over time.
  • BONUS:
  • Prior experience working with enterprise software, observability, or IT/security tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other agile planning tools.
  • Experience contributing to or managing technical documentation.
  • No fear — speak your mind, share your ideas.
  • Good jokes (or better yet, bad ones).
  • A love for goats. 🐐
