Maintaining Freshness Standards in Market: Ensure all products in the market meet company freshness standards. Regularly inspect retail and distribution points to verify product quality. Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to address any issues related to product freshness.
In-Market Program Execution & Merchandising: Execute marketing and sales programs in the market to drive product visibility and sales. Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and appeal. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of in-market programs and merchandising efforts.
Retail and Distributor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors. Negotiate terms and agreements to optimize product placement and sales opportunities. Provide ongoing support and communication to retail and distributor partners.
On & Off Premise Distribution Gains/Management: Identify and secure new on-premises (bars, restaurants) and off-premises (retail stores) distribution opportunities. Manage existing distribution channels to ensure consistent product availability and sales growth. Analyze market trends and sales data to inform distribution strategies.
Consumer Education & Engagement/Events: Plan and execute consumer engagement events to promote brand awareness and product knowledge. Educate consumers about product features, benefits, and brand story through various channels. Gather consumer feedback and insights to inform marketing and sales strategies.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 years of sales experience preferred, as is familiarity with the Central and Western North Carolina markets.
Experience within some aspect of the three-tier system or customer service industry preferred.
Valid Driver’s License for the state where work is performed and clean driving record.
Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.
Strong judgment and professional maturity.
Benefits
Ability and willingness to travel; this role will require some overnight travel, not expected to exceed more than 25% of total work time, travel and lodging expenses covered.
