About the role
- Report directly to the Store Manager and support all aspects of store operations
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising day-to-day store operations and team performance
- Provide on-floor coaching and guidance to Cozey Ambassadors to ensure excellent customer experience and drive sales objectives
- Support scheduling, shift coverage, and team check-ins
- Ensure team members complete product knowledge training prior to product launches
- Engage customers, provide product recommendations, assist with orders, and process transactions
- Support Shopify and POS operations and ensure smooth checkout experiences
- Help track and communicate sales KPIs and support clienteling (gathering customer data, emails, generating 5-star reviews)
- Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are followed in the Store Manager’s absence
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment and assist with merchandising flips
- Manage order holds and follow-ups on draft orders and coordinate backstock returns to the warehouse
Requirements
- 2–4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to coach, motivate, and work collaboratively with a team
- Adaptable, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (standing, walking, light lifting)
- Experience with Shopify and Shopify POS is an asset
