Learning and Development

• Coordinates and executes the logistics of learning programs and events including, but not limited to, all new consultant orientation and onboarding programs as well as all cohort related programs (Analyst, Associate, Manager, Principal etc.).
• Schedules sessions and coordinates with participants and faculty
• Helps prepare event schedules and agendas
• Drafts and sends relevant communications regarding programs
• Collects participant attendance and feedback details
• Serves as session host, including supporting break out rooms or managing other room logistics on behalf of the presenter
• Uploads content to the LMS
• Provides logistical support for all on-site events (related to lodging, meal-planning, invoicing, AV coordination, etc.)
• Responds to inquiries received through #LearningandDevelopment. Respond directly or forward to the appropriate team member
• Manages and maintains accurate and up-to-date rosters for all training programs, including tracking enrollment, attendance, and completion rates, and ensures data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Administers the performance management and 360 assessment systems, including setup, configuration, and maintenance, and analyzes and reports on data to inform Talent initiatives.
• Serves as the primary Talent administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, course management, and reporting, and provides technical support and training to users on LMS functionality and best practices.
• Helps process and manage any vendor invoices and expenses related to learning programs and maintains and updates tracking of expenses against the budget.
• Coordinates timely distribution of information about upcoming programs with participants, Advisors, Faculty, other departments, and the rest of the Talent team.
• Designs and compiles data sets to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, including analyzing and summarizing participant feedback, assessment results, and other relevant metrics.

Senior Learning and Development Coordinator

General

• Conduct complex domestic and international business and legal research utilizing appropriate databases and research tools
• Direct consultants to appropriate information sources
• Evaluate sources of information for currency, reliability, relevance, and cost-effectiveness
• Compile and organize information into a coherent, focused collection of information

Research Librarian

Manager

• Managing the day-to-day operations of Desktop Support for assigned offices.
• Partnering with counterparts to create full redundancy and consistent support across all offices.
• Leading internal desktop staff and managing external "service-desk" support teams.
• Ensuring seamless ticket escalation, adherence to operational standards, and high-quality end-user support.
• Managing the desktop support queue to ensure all tickets are handled in accordance with SLA policy.
• Managing the end-to-end hardware lifecycle, including procurement (leasing and purchasing) of desktop hardware.
• Managing office and firm-wide desktop services projects, infrastructure optimizations, and IT logistics for office renovations.
• Contributing to other IT projects as requested.
• Leading business center technical operations for firm events requiring IT services.

Desktop Support Manager

• Conduct complex domestic and international business and legal research utilizing appropriate databases and research tools and direct consultants to appropriate sources.
• Evaluate diverse sources of information for currency, reliability, relevance, and cost-effectiveness, then choose the best sources for answering research requests.
• Interface with experts, law firms, agencies, libraries, and organizations; represent the firm in a professional manner.
• Compile and organize information obtained in research projects into a coherent, focused collection of information, accompanied by explanatory notes if relevant, so that the material is readily understandable to the user; log new information about resources in both public and department databases for future use.
• Develop expertise with the library’s information resources, particularly its research databases and physical collection.
• Maintain awareness of current developments on legal news and information services, specifically with developments regarding new specialized databases relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
• Recognize new information resources, both in print and electronic form, and make recommendations for new acquisitions to the Senior Manager, Information Resources and Senior Director, Information Resources.
• Provide orientation and instruction regarding IR’s resources and work effectively with the IR department.
• Prepare and conduct training for consultants and other staff on a specific database or topic relevant to the attendees. The training may be either in formal sessions or at the point of need.
• Support at least one practice area in their business development needs including docket tracks and searches, literature searches, expert searches, and more.

Senior Research Librarian

• Design and implement the firm’s developmental assessment programs, utilizing psychometric instruments and 360-degree feedback to guide leadership effectiveness
• Manage the end-to-end operations and debriefing support for 360-degree feedback tools to help staff elevate self-awareness regarding leadership presence and impact
• Design, launch, and establish firm-wide best practices and toolkits for Individual Development Plans (IDPs), continuous feedback, and high-impact 1:1 meetings
• Support ongoing competency development and modeling to align skills with evolving firm objectives
• Monitor, analyze, and refine ongoing career development initiatives to ensure they meet the complex, changing needs of our staff
• Provide operational support for the firm’s external coaching practice
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal coachees and external executive coaches to facilitate effective engagements
• Oversee the development process and operations for critical firm-building roles – Advisor Coordinators, Office Training Coordinators, and Learning Advisors

Manager, Leadership Development

• Design and develop learner-centered, performance-based solutions that utilize a variety of delivery methods: (e-learning/on-demand, instructor-led training, online classrooms, virtual learning environments, performance support, distance learning, etc.)
• Create highly effective interactive content using appropriate authoring systems and software applications as needed. Content includes digital assets such as graphic elements, animations, 3-D modeling, video, narrated presentations, layouts, and templates.
• Adhere to project scope, timelines, budget and priorities for all assigned activities.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to evaluate effectiveness of programs-including development of learning metrics.
• Identify and recommend innovative instructional design strategies, technology practices, and best-in-class practices to increase content engagement, usability, and effectiveness.
• Proactively collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, and firm leaders.
