About the role
- Deliver expert guidance to clients
- Drive operational improvements
- Support complex accounting scenarios
- Manage and optimize financial close processes
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Streamline workflows in the general ledger
- Provide project management and hands-on support for major initiatives
- Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Provide interim audit leadership and support SOX compliance
- Prepare and review SEC filings and disclosures for compliance
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
- Masters degree preferred
- A CPA license, or equivalent certification, is highly valued
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, ideally a mix of public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) and industry experience
- At least 4+ years leading teams and managing complex projects
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to identify challenges and implement solutions
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
- Expertise with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred
