Develop and execute a best-in-class digital video strategy, prioritizing YouTube and other freemium video environments
Lead the creation of original video series and content formats, conceptualizing and producing compelling, shareable content
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Social Media, to integrate video strategies across Andscape’s platforms, maximizing audience reach and engagement
Oversee end-to-end video production workflows, including pre-production, shooting, editing, and post-production
Optimize content for platform-specific performance, leveraging analytics, SEO strategies, and audience insights to increase discoverability and impact
Manage and mentor a team of video producers, editors, and content associates, ensuring high-quality production and efficient execution
Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-platform content expansion, integrating digital video with editorial, social, and linear storytelling
Collaborate with internal partners across ESPN, Disney, and third-party platforms to align Andscape’s video strategy with broader company objectives
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess content success, implementing data-driven improvements in production and distribution
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in digital video production, video content strategy, or digital media management
Strong creative storytelling skills with the ability to develop compelling, innovative content formats
Expertise in YouTube content strategy, including video SEO, audience retention techniques, and monetization best practices
Proficiency in video production workflows, including camera operation, shooting, and non-linear editing tools (Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, etc.)
Experience working in digital-first and mobile-first production environments
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative execution with operational efficiency
Deep understanding of Black culture, sports, and storytelling, ensuring culturally authentic and engaging content
Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and working cross-functionally
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field
