About the role
- Lead a global team of Technical Sales/Sales Engineering professionals to drive strategic and financial goals
- Set goals and objectives for team members and manage multiple teams led by experienced managers
- Own short to mid-term strategy execution and operational direction of the Technical Sales team
- Lead and prioritize daily activities; manage, mentor, and coach team members to develop a collaborative team
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies
- Serve as primary technical resource for revenue: product introduction, trial, and education expertise
- Direct resources for creation and delivery of customized demonstrations for all products and services
- Ensure continuous professional development and training on latest product versions and features
- Develop leadership relationships across business to ensure collaboration and adjust team strategy as needed
- Manage and oversee assets, resources, and staff for successful delivery of initiatives and programs
- Oversee sales processes and utilization and implement continuous improvements
- Develop, revise, and implement business controls, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Engage in ongoing trainings and certifications to remain up-to-date on ConnectWise products and services
