About the role
- Administer all new hire processes, including preparation and delivery of offer letters for external candidates, internal promotions, and contractor conversions.
- Process background checks.
- Partner with department managers and IT to prepare new hires for their first day.
- Enter and maintain new hire information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
- File new employee paperwork.
- Present new hire orientation and organize New Hire Orientations.
- Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
- Support the Talent Acquisition department with special projects and attend regular departmental staffing meetings.
- Report to the Manager of Candidate Experience and represent HR in onboarding and recruiting functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of employment laws, I-9 process requirements, and HR processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources functions related to recruitment and onboarding.
- Experience with ATS and/or HRIS systems preferred (Dayforce, iCIMS, Workday, ADP, etc.).
