About the role
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues raised by customers across multiple infrastructure layers.
- Partner with Engineering to escalate and resolve bugs, outages, or unexpected behavior in production.
- Proactively monitor and flag potential issues before they impact customers.
- Respond to urgent situations with clarity, empathy, and a methodical approach.
- Improve runbooks, tooling, and documentation to make support more efficient and scalable.
- Feed insights from customer issues back to Product and Engineering to shape roadmap and UX improvements.
- Help establish support practices for Conduit’s Asia operations as the first hire in the region.
- Dive deep into container orchestration, APIs, observability tooling, and rollup-specific infrastructure.
- Act as a critical bridge between time zones, providing coverage during late US hours and early EU mornings.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in technical support, infrastructure ops, or DevOps in a fast-paced B2B or cloud environment.
- Self-starter who can thrive with autonomy as the first regional hire.
- Ability to stay calm in high-stakes situations and solve complex technical problems.
- Comfortable with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Experience with storage/compute systems, APIs, and observability stacks.
- Ability to write or read code snippets (Go, Solidity, or TypeScript preferred).
- Understanding of L1s or rollup architectures.
- Experience building or contributing to support tooling and automation.
- Clear communicator under pressure, keeping customers informed.
- Willingness to provide coverage during late US hours and early EU mornings (Asia-based).
