About the role

  • Provide Human Resources (HR) support to site level Managers in a geographic region
  • Advise and coach on all site level employee relation matters
  • Guide and coach Managers on disciplinary process including verbal, written and final Performance Improvement Plans (PIP)
  • Assist with preparation of justification and paperwork for recommended terminations and support delivery of disciplinary actions
  • Provide support for site level involuntary terminations including obtaining final work hours
  • Assist with HR investigations and required supporting documentation
  • Respond to HR related inquiries from site level management and employees and counsel on HR policies
  • Assist the Human Resources Coordinator with workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodations
  • Oversight of annual engagement survey for leader's geographic region and assist with annual compliance, harassment, and other trainings
  • Create and assist leaders with HR essential training and execute corporate and regional initiatives including annual performance review process and calibration sessions
  • Follow up on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) incidents and facilitate resolution and ensure HIPAA/IS attestation and HIPAA refresher completion
  • Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change with or without notice

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • In lieu of undergraduate degree, 1:1 ratio meaning one year of college equals one year of experience (experience can substitute for education)
  • Strong understanding of federal employment laws and state-specific requirements of the applicable region
  • Customarily at least one to three years of demonstrated general human resource experience
  • Prior experience with employee and management coaching, the progressive disciplinary process, and conducting human resource related investigations (preferred)
  • Experience with workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodations
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking and work in a fast-paced multi-state environment
  • Experience working with remote employees (preferred)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling and secure information management
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
  • Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks without direct supervision
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate improvement plans
  • Ability to provide counseling to leaders on colleague, client and patient issues
  • High energy, professional demeanor, and strong leadership/influencing skills
