Provide Human Resources (HR) support to site level Managers in a geographic region
Advise and coach on all site level employee relation matters
Guide and coach Managers on disciplinary process including verbal, written and final Performance Improvement Plans (PIP)
Assist with preparation of justification and paperwork for recommended terminations and support delivery of disciplinary actions
Provide support for site level involuntary terminations including obtaining final work hours
Assist with HR investigations and required supporting documentation
Respond to HR related inquiries from site level management and employees and counsel on HR policies
Assist the Human Resources Coordinator with workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodations
Oversight of annual engagement survey for leader's geographic region and assist with annual compliance, harassment, and other trainings
Create and assist leaders with HR essential training and execute corporate and regional initiatives including annual performance review process and calibration sessions
Follow up on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) incidents and facilitate resolution and ensure HIPAA/IS attestation and HIPAA refresher completion

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in business administration, human resources, or related field
In lieu of undergraduate degree, 1:1 ratio meaning one year of college equals one year of experience (experience can substitute for education)
Strong understanding of federal employment laws and state-specific requirements of the applicable region
Customarily at least one to three years of demonstrated general human resource experience
Prior experience with employee and management coaching, the progressive disciplinary process, and conducting human resource related investigations (preferred)
Experience with workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodations
Ability to handle multi-tasking and work in a fast-paced multi-state environment
Experience working with remote employees (preferred)
Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling and secure information management
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks without direct supervision
Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate improvement plans
Ability to provide counseling to leaders on colleague, client and patient issues
High energy, professional demeanor, and strong leadership/influencing skills
