Systems Engineer

• Support CHE application installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities in coordination with NG911 engineers, network teams, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues impacting call handling services and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to system design improvements, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in change management, testing, and cutover activities to ensure system changes are introduced safely into live call handling environments.

• Participation in I-NGCS engineering reviews and IBOP peer reviews.
• Stoughton PIE lab supports and acceptance testing for Stoughton PIE and Massachusetts Production environments; work with cross-functional teams to plan, design, test, and implement system upgrades and new products.
• Document system configurations and operational procedures, including any required ISO-9000, TL-9000, and ISO-27001 compliance and documentation activities.
• Provide technical expertise for future Comtech services in the telecommunications sector and stay apprised of technological trends in telecommunications and NG911 systems.
• Work independently on projects assigned.

Systems Engineer II

Support Engineer

• Support Tier I & II technicians
• Create various support procedures and training material, including forms for customers to complete.
• Escalate tickets and work with System Engineering, R&D, Product Line Management and other groups to resolve issue.
• Communicates resolution to both internal and external customers.
• Review and recommend troubleshooting tools for Tier I & II
• Participate as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in scheduled and unscheduled customer meeting.
• Communicate minutes and action plan.
• Review new system configuration and escalate potential configuration issues.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex technical support issues to assist customers in the resolution of support issues with equipment and software.
• Provide a high level of expertise on issues related to VoIP, SIP, Network, IP based call delivery issues, and 911 call and data delivery.
• Responsible for Beta upgrades.
• Required to serve in an on-call rotational schedule for 24x7 escalation support and may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and non-standard work hours as mission needs arise.

Senior Customer Service Technician, Support

Sales Engineer

• Collaborate with sales teams to conduct technical discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations of Call Handling Equipment and related agency solutions.
• Participate in the development and writing of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring compliance with public safety standards, NENA i3, cybersecurity, and interoperability needs.
• Represent Allerium at industry trade shows, conferences, and events, showcasing solutions and networking with potential customers.
• Accompany sales representatives on frequent customer visits (up to 50% travel).
• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams including product management, engineering, and implementation services.
• Develop and maintain technical sales collateral, including presentations, demo scripts, white papers, and competitive analysis documents.
• Support post-sales activities as needed, including technical handoffs to implementation teams and customer onboarding assistance.

• Design, implement, document and manage cybersecurity tools, technologies, and processes supporting enterprise corporate systems.
• Assist in managing Vulnerability Management Program including scanning, risk prioritization and remediation tracking.
• Administer and optimize security technologies like SIEM, EDR and other relevant tools to support security incident detection, investigation, and response activities.
• Participate in Incident Response activities, including developing, testing, and maintaining playbooks and conducting root cause analysis.

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Deployment Engineers and Technical Deployment Specialists.
• Ensure successful implementation, configuration, validation, and production readiness of customer deployments.
• Establish deployment metrics, KPIs, and reporting to measure deployment success, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Define deployment engineering strategy, processes, standards, and best practices to improve deployment quality, efficiency, and predictability.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; monitor progress and address any risks or issues that arise.
• Establish deployment methodologies that support both traditional telecom and cloud-native network architectures.
• Develop organizational capabilities to successfully drive rapid customer acceptance of platform upgrades, and large-scale production rollouts.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Program Management, and Support organizations to drive successful customer outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize deployment processes and enhance service delivery.
• Support capture efforts with proposals, white papers, and reviewing cost estimates.
• Travel as required for business needs.

• Deliver Cyberspace Operations (CO) training to Department of Defense personnel at the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), Corry Station, Pensacola, FL.
• Perform duties as a Cyberspace Operations Instructor by delivering highly technical training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises, and other delivery methods.
• Assist with developing CO training curriculum (e.g., lecture content, student/instructor guides, tests, exercises, simulations).
