Assess Customer environment and make design and solution recommendations
Act as liaison between Pre-Sales and Delivery teams
Provide design, deployment and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions in a Data Center environment
Handle issues escalated by Engineers and Sr. Engineers
Troubleshoot multi-vendor issues
Lead a Project team
Be current with vendor offerings and technology
Be available to meet the customers IT needs
Achievement of utilization targets
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Provide after-hours on-call support
Understand and abide by all security and operational policies
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Computacenter
Ensure safety and security of facility

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years as an engineering consultant, outside systems engineer or similar
Relevant qualifications or accreditations in one or more technology area(s)
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Subject matter expert within your focused technology stack
Ability to design complex multi technology solutions
Ability to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documents
Have, maintain and/or achieve multiple manufacturer-specific advanced certifications
Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting
Prefer a strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Windows, Microsoft Office, OSX, Salesforce)
Scripting and automation experience preferred (Python, Ansible, etc.)
Working knowledge of networking systems.
