About the role
- Serve as the primary internal learning & development consultant to managers and employees to support growth of Computacenter North America
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values
- Provide a high level of consultancy skills to peers and customers both within the business and when working on projects
- Design and implement solutions in Learning, Leadership Development and Performance Management Culture at Computacenter
- Build trusted relationship with external suppliers and select fitting offers
- Using knowledge of best practice and industry trends, create and implement business improvement
- Manage own time and workload contributing to the business strategy in order to help grow and develop the business
- Demonstrate a creative and analytical approach to problem solving
- Work closely and as part of the HR team especially in collaboration with HR BPs, maintaining confidentiality in all business-related matters
- Establish productive relationships and networks with business leaders
- Work with HRBP’s and business leaders on people development
- Be flexible with occasional European/UK travel
- Contribute to business strategy in order to help grow and develop the business
- Advise on and implement the adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service
- Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organization

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent in experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management
- Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area
- Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
- Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
- Good self-organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm
- Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations
- Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of product supply chains
- Commercially astute
