About the role
- Managing multiple construction projects at once
- Participating in design-build project planning
- Overseeing project design team
- Managing construction and closeouts
- Coordinating project bidding efforts, generating scopes of work, and identifying long lead time items
- Preparing contracts for subcontractors
- Preparing change orders
- Monitoring, reviewing, and controlling project costs
- Participating in obtaining local municipality approvals
- Ensuring compliance with all required regulations
Requirements
- 3-5 years construction experience on industrial/commercial buildings including project management, construction, civil engineering, or related experience including construction inspection work and supervision of construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering or Construction Management or Project Management
- Project Management Software Skills Including: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Must be able to travel to job site locations as needed
- Must have general building construction experience from footings through MEP, all aspects of site work, demolition and retrofitting of facilities
- Experience with parking lots, paving, road widening, sidewalks and curbing work
