Account Executive

• Responsible for securing and expanding the largest and most transformative enterprise clients of commercetools in the retail and CPG space.
• Lead C-suite engagements, navigate multi-year digital transformation initiatives, and close complex, multi-million dollar platform deals.
• Own and grow a portfolio of the highest-value retail and CPG strategic enterprise accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts from a sales and account management perspective.
• Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CMOs, CFOs, and their teams.
• Articulate commercetools' capabilities and differentiation clearly. Collaborate with solutions consultants to engage technical teams effectively.
• Partner tightly with the value engineering team to ensure focus on outcomes for customers.
• Manage the complex sales process inclusive of MEDDPICC, notable relationships at client organizations.
• Collaborate with ISVs and SIs to ensure client successes.
• Develop tailored account plans for each client and manage the cadence for continuous execution.
• Influence digital strategy at the board and executive level; position commercetools as an innovation partner.

Senior Strategic Account Executive

• Own and grow a portfolio of the highest-value retail and CPG strategic enterprise accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts from a sales and account management perspective, and in tight collaboration with our CS (customer success) team and orchestrating the executive relationships as well as all of commercetools in the pursuit of maximizing the value of the relationship with these clients for both parties.
• Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CMOs, CFOs, and their teams.
• Solution Differentiation & Technical Collaboration: Articulate commercetools' capabilities and differentiation clearly. Collaborate with solutions consultants to engage technical teams effectively.
• Value: Partner tightly with the value engineering team to ensure we are focused on outcomes for our customers, and drive our top line growth with cross and up-sell campaigns.
• Organizational sales orchestration: Manage the complex sales process inclusive of MEDDPICC, notably the relationships at these clients (Champions, EBs, influencers and others).
• Partnering: Collaborate with our ISVs and SIs to ensure the successes noted above.
• Develop tailored account plans for each client and manage the cadence for continuous execution.
• Orchestrate internal and external resources including alliances, professional services, product leadership, and GSI’s to craft enterprise transformation roadmaps.
• Influence digital strategy at the board and executive level; position commercetools as an innovation partner rather than a vendor.
• Close multi-year, multi-solution platform agreements that drive long-term value realization across multiple lines of business, regions, and brands. Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Track, analyze, and report on key account metrics, such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and project delivery.

Revenue Operations

• Own and manage all commission calculations & inquiries. Calculating and auditing commissions monthly to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support designing, modeling, implementing and maintaining variable compensation plans in partnership with finance and HR teams.
• Optimize commission technology by embedding AI-driven error detection, predictive accrual models, and scenario simulations to reduce gaps and improve scalability.
• Streamline processes and timelines in line with strategy and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Finance to use machine learning forecasting models to anticipate commission expense trends and validate payouts.
• Become an expert user across the GTM tech stack and champion AI-powered features (e.g., predictive analytics around opportunity scoring, natural language query dashboards, Gemini AI Agents).
• Develop and own the RevOps training agenda covering tools, processes, and AI literacy — ensuring GTM teams adopt automation and insights effectively.
• Create AI-enabled playbooks to guide AEs, FLMs, and BDRs in areas such as pipeline hygiene, opportunity qualification, and forecast accuracy.
• Embed AI into the day-to-day of GTM and RevOps, such as:
• Pipeline health monitoring with anomaly detection.
• Churn prediction models for Customer Success.
• Deal scoring and prioritization using predictive analytics
• Territory optimization between account assignments and REP location
• Automated dashboarding for real-time performance insights and forecast accuracy
• Provide assistance to internal stakeholders during the rollout of initiatives and strategic projects, especially AI-driven pilots and process redesigns.
• Support GTM stakeholders with day-to-day inquiries, including AI-assisted data exploration and reporting.

Revenue Operations Analyst

Business Development Rep

• Drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth for the enterprise sales team through targeted outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social outreach, events)
• Research, identify, and map enterprise accounts to identify key stakeholders and potential opportunities
• Leverage AI deeply, for bespoke research on accounts for outreach and follow up, tailored for their business challenges/pain and focused on these issues 1st, and how we may potentially solve them
• Present our company to potential clients, effectively engage with C-level executives, VP’s and Directors across IT, Digital, and Commerce functions
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Qualify and nurture inbound leads, aligning business needs to our value proposition
• Collaborate with Marketing to tailor campaigns, messaging, and events for strategic accounts
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
• Maintain accurate account data, activity, and opportunity progress within Salesforce
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly activity and qualified opportunity goals
• Stay current on company new products/services, pricing/payment plans, enterprise commerce trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology

Senior Business Development Representative

• Act as liaison between Marketing and Sales to develop new business opportunities
• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and develop them into sales opportunities
• Contact potential clients through phone calls and emails
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
