Chief Engineer, VLCC Oil Tanker

•We are looking for an experienced Assistant Pastry Chef to join our onboard team.
•Preparing dishes in collaboration with colleagues and in respect of designated recipes;
•Performing duties under the guidance of superiors and following instructions;
•Ensuring that preparation and presentation of food is up to the existing standards at all times;
•Ensuring compliance with the latest ShipSan, HACCPand/or USPH regulations;
•Ensuring the proper and safe use of equipment;
•Ensuring that all logs of the station are updated as outlined in the Health & Hygiene Manuals;
•Ensuring safe and clean workplace with focus on employee health and fire prevention;
•Assisting with loading and inventory of supplies;
•Performing other duties assigned by superiors.

Assistant Pastry Chef

• Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned station.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient operations in the galley.
• Support the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.
• Ensure dishes are prepared to meet high culinary standards and maintain consistency.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage practices.
