Oversee graduate and undergraduate cybersecurity, computer science and data analytics programs including program review and assessment, course development and evaluation
Curriculum development, evaluation and revision; address student admissions questions; evaluate student achievement including formative and summative evaluation
Manage the Center for Academic Excellence for Cyber Defense; run the cyber security club and attend required conferences
Teach 27 credits per year (9 credits per semester) in the Business and Technology undergraduate and graduate programs as assigned
Support the mission, strategic priorities, and philosophy of CCU through the integration of faith, learning, and living
Produce scholarly works including course development and revision, academic and professional publications and research
Assist the Dean for Business and Technology with school assessment plans and reports; participate in department, school and university committee meetings and training sessions
Keep educational records as required and perform other instructional and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Dean of Business and Technology
Requirements
A doctorate in computer science or equivalent terminal degree preferred; strong industry experience in a technical field may be considered in lieu of a terminal degree
At least two years of full-time online teaching experience in a baccalaureate or graduate degree program
Demonstrated knowledge and skills related to the teaching of adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development, and curriculum evaluation
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
Experience with Brightspace LMS or similar system preferred
Committed follower of Jesus Christ; able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace
Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church
Must have a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends
