Identify process improvements across finished vehicle logistics business operations and drive profit improvements and efficiencies
Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities through training, coaching and data analysis
Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
Guide and drive operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program
Requirements
Tertiary qualified in industrial engineering (or related)
Solid experience in a related role (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related)
Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
Bonus: AutoCAD or similar
