About the role
- Identify process improvements across finished vehicle logistics business operations and drive profit improvements and efficiencies
- Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
- Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
- Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities through training, coaching and data analysis
- Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
- Guide and drive operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified in industrial engineering (or related)
- Solid experience in a related role (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
- Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
- Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
- Bonus: AutoCAD or similar
- Provide proof of work rights and suitable professional referees
- Progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check
