Interpret and monitor evolving CoR and HVNL legislation, adapting CEVA’s systems to ensure full compliance across sites, carriers, and transport contractors
Partner with multiple business units including Ground & Rail, Finished Vehicle Logistics, and Contract Logistics to provide expert guidance
Develop and manage internal and external audit schedules (e.g., NHVAS, NLSC), conduct in-depth audits and produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations
Lead training needs analyses and coordinate the design and delivery of compliance programmes, coaching junior coordinators and advisors
Oversee or participate in ICAM investigations, work closely with QHSE teams to conduct root cause analyses and champion safety improvements
Collaborate on introducing digital platforms and integrated systems to strengthen transport governance and align with Integrated Safety Management Systems
Serve as the primary expert for operations teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders on all transport compliance matters
Requirements
Solid experience in transport operations, compliance, or training
Thorough and detailed understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL)
Proven ability to deliver high-quality training and communicate complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences
Familiarity with accreditation frameworks, particularly the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS)
Strong proficiency in MS Office and report writing
Relevant qualifications in CoR, fatigue management, mass, load restraint, or maintenance
ICAM Lead Investigator certification (or equivalent) considered a bonus
Full driving licence and own vehicle
Flexibility to travel intrastate as required
Proof of work rights and suitable professional referees required
