About the role
- Manage and lead a team of Process-Focused Implementation Engineers on Manhattan WMS/OMS deployments.
- Ensure process standardization, configuration integrity, and deployment consistency across sites.
- Act as central coordination point between business requirements, system capabilities, and operational execution.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee prioritization of engineering workstreams and conduct regular team reviews.
- Develop and enforce standards for SOPs, process documentation, and system instruction sets.
- Translate warehouse and order management operational processes into Manhattan Active system configurations.
- Serve as escalation point for complex configuration or process issues during implementation.
- Collaborate with Super User Team Managers, Deployment Project Managers, Training team, and customer IT/automation platforms.
- Represent engineering team in governance meetings, deployment planning, and issue resolution forums.
- Drive development of a centralized library of standardized, validated process flows and SOPs and capture lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics process design, or systems deployment.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct experience with Manhattan WMS and/or OMS platforms (Active or WMOS).
- Prior experience managing teams or leading process/engineering workstreams in large-scale deployments.
- Background in 3PL or high-volume distribution environments preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide technical contributors.
- Expert-level process mapping and documentation capabilities.
- Solid understanding of Manhattan WMS/OMS modules and how they support operational processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills across functional and technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and related tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to support project execution across North America.
