Staff/Principal Software Engineer

Affiliate Manager

• Supports: CEO, Executive Chairman, Founder/CTO, Chief Product Officer, SVP of Customer Success, and broader support for ELT
• Own complex calendars and executive meeting rhythm, offsite and onsite design, and cross-functional projects.
• Anticipate what executives need before they ask.
• Make every interaction with their offices feel sharp, prepared, and intentional.
• Build the operating systems that scale the executive function as the company grows.
• Partner with the CEO and ELT to track quarterly priorities, OKRs, and strategic initiatives.
• Own the weekly ELT meeting end-to-end: agenda design, pre-reads, decision capture, action items tracked to close.
• Drive initiatives that sit between functions and would otherwise stall.

Senior Executive Business Partner

Account Executive

• Own and close sales opportunities by demonstrating and documenting value during proof of concept (POC) engagements in collaboration with Sales Engineers.
• Lead effective sales conversations with prospects via Zoom and in-person, leveraging Sandler and Force Management methodologies.
• Manage a named account list or geographic territory, using MEDDPICC to forecast pipeline with accuracy and discipline.
• Proactively source new commercial opportunities through outbound efforts and in partnership with marketing and alliance teams.
• Stay current on industry trends in Cloud Optimization, FinOps, and DevOps to understand buyer challenges and connect solutions to real-world use cases.
• Research customer business initiatives, stakeholders, and technology ecosystems to drive tailored insight-led engagements.
• Partner with AWS sales and other strategic ecosystem teams to accelerate deal velocity and maximize pipeline coverage.

Commercial Account Executive

Compliance

• Design and operate a comprehensive GRC framework spanning governance structures, enterprise risk management, and compliance programs that grows alongside CloudZero’s business
• Own audit and certification programs including SOC 2 and other relevant standards, coordinating across internal teams and third-party auditors to drive successful outcomes
• Own the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of CloudZero’s security and privacy policies and procedures, ensuring they’re current, practical, and embedded into how teams actually operate
• Lead regular enterprise risk assessments, maintain a living risk register, and create an environment where risk-informed decision-making happens at every level of the organization
• Serve as a key stakeholder in building CloudZero’s AI Governance & Strategic Risk strategy
• Take full ownership of business continuity and disaster recovery programs, including program design, documentation, regular testing cycles, and tabletop exercises — ensuring operational preparedness when it matters most
• Build and manage third-party risk management processes, including vendor due diligence, contract reviews, and ongoing monitoring throughout the vendor lifecycle
• Track regulatory developments alongside the Legal team, ensuring CloudZero meets its obligations under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable requirements
• Manage the company’s security awareness training program and run internal audits to validate that controls are working as intended
• Own the security questionnaire and assessment process — including VSAs, SIGs, and custom customer requests — with a primary focus on building and scaling tooling and automation that makes high-quality responses fast and repeatable
• Review and redline security and data privacy language in customer and prospect contracts, working closely with Legal to protect CloudZero’s interests while keeping deals on track
• Build and maintain a library of pre-approved security responses, compliance artifacts, and contract language so the team isn’t starting from scratch on every deal
• Actively identify and implement tooling to automate questionnaire responses and security review workflows, reducing manual effort and accelerating deal cycles without sacrificing quality
• Maintain and continuously improve CloudZero’s trust center, ensuring prospective customers have ready access to up-to-date security and compliance documentation
• Partner with Sales Engineering and Solutions teams to address security and compliance requirements early in the sales cycle, removing friction before it becomes a blocker

GRC Manager

Accountant

• Review and analyze revenue contracts in Campfire to ensure proper treatment and documentation
• Advise on and apply revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) across the business
• Record revenue entries and maintain accuracy of the revenue ledger
• Book cost of goods sold (COGS) in alignment with recognized revenue
• Review T&E entries prepared by the accounting associate, ensuring policy compliance
• Manage stock-based compensation accounting and related journal entries
• Maintain cap table and equity rollforward schedules
• Partner with legal and HR on equity-related reporting and disclosures
• Research and apply new and existing accounting standards (GAAP/ASC)
• Draft technical accounting memos and position papers as needed
• Serve as a resource for complex accounting questions across the team
• Manage the external audit process - PBC lists, coordinate auditor requests, and serve as primary point of contact

Senior Accountant

Sales Development Rep

• Consistently exceed monthly quota by setting qualified meetings for senior Account Executives, with a focus on enterprise and strategic accounts
• Own multi-threaded prospecting strategies into named target accounts via phone, email, social media, and direct mail
• Partner with AEs on territory and account planning, bringing point-of-view on which accounts to prioritize and how to break in
• Develop creative, account-specific outbound campaigns that engage senior decision-makers (Finance, Engineering, and Cloud/FinOps leaders)
• Serve as a peer mentor to newer SDRs — sharing playbooks, running call reviews, and helping ramp the next generation of the team
• Contribute to the evolution of CloudZero’s outbound motion by testing new messaging, sequences, and tools, and sharing learnings broadly
• Fully internalize and evangelize CloudZero’s strategic narrative, with the ability to handle nuanced discovery and objection-handling conversations
• Maintain rigorous, accurate activity and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and Outreach
