About the role
- Own the channel growth plan: monthly content calendar aligned to ICPs, use cases, and buyer stages
- End‑to‑end production: recording (on‑camera or VO), editing, light motion graphics/animations, exports, and uploads
- Retention & CTR: hook writing, pattern interrupts, pacing, end‑screen strategy, title/thumbnail ideation and A/B testing
- Topic strategy & research: identify high‑intent topics with keyword and trend tools; map to jobs‑to‑be‑done and CloudTalk’s product strengths
- Distribution: shorts strategy, community posts, playlists, snippets for LinkedIn/X, partner embeds, and SEO optimization (metadata, chapters, tags)
- Experimentation: run structured tests (format, length, hook type, thumbnail style), share insights, and scale what works
- Collaboration: work with Product Marketing, SEO, and Brand Team to align content with launches, campaigns, and ICP pains
Requirements
- Proven channel impact: you’ve grown a YouTube channel or series meaningfully (show us the data)
- Hands‑on production skills: camera operation, lighting, framing, clean audio; fast, clean edits; simple motion graphics
- YouTube native: you think in hooks, thumbnails, retention graphs, end‑cards, playlists, and Shorts
- Demand mindset: comfort with UTMs, MQL definitions, and GA4 dashboards
- Research‑driven: propose topics backed by data and competitor analysis
- Distribution‑savvy: experience with collaborations, repurposing, SEO, communities
- Familiarity with editing tools: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci
- Familiarity with AI creation tools: HeyGen
- Familiarity with voiceover tools: ElevenLabs
- Familiarity with analytics tools: YouTube Studio/Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), GSC
- Familiarity with research tools: Google Trends; optional Ahrefs, vidIQ/TubeBuddy
