About the role

  • Optimize content for traditional search engines (SEO) and AI-driven interfaces (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, other LLMs) to appear in AI-generated answers and search results
  • Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, improve site structure, and ensure technical SEO best practices
  • Structure and format content for AI engines to reference and cite (AEO & GEO optimization)
  • Develop LLM ranking strategies to appear in AI-generated search results across platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
  • Collaborate with AI-powered writers to create highly rankable and AI-friendly content
  • Use analytics tools (GA4, GSC, AI dashboards) to measure search performance and refine strategies
  • Leverage AI tools for keyword clustering, content optimization, and automation

Requirements

  • Keyword research with AI augmentation (SEMrush, Ahrefs + ChatGPT for clustering & gap analysis)
  • On-page optimization: schema markup, meta tags, internal linking
  • Technical SEO: crawlability, site speed, mobile-first indexing
  • Content strategy: blog, landing pages, pillar content
  • Understanding how LLMs source and rank content
  • Optimizing for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI Overviews
  • Structuring content for machine comprehension (clean HTML, structured data, Q&A format)
  • Knowledge of how AI engines cite sources and creating cite-worthy, authoritative content
  • Prompt-engineering experiments to influence AI outputs
  • Researching LLM training sources and LLM ranking strategies
  • Understanding semantic search and embeddings
  • Proficiency with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini
  • Experience with SurferSEO, Clearscope, MarketMuse
  • Familiarity with AI-based keyword clustering tools (Keyword Insights, LowFruits, etc.)
  • Automation experience with Zapier/Make for publishing workflows
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and AI dashboards for data-driven decisions
