Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, performance alignment, and long-term strategy.
Own client relationships from onboarding through ongoing service delivery, serving as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
Grow and retain accounts by aligning Clix’s services with evolving client needs, identifying opportunities for expansion, and ensuring long-term client value.
Consult on strategy across SEO, PPC, paid social, and other channels; recommend when clients should expand or shift investment.
Run effective client meetings that evaluate performance against statements of work, focusing on business objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, PPC, creative, etc.), ensuring client goals and nuances are communicated while empowering strategists to lead tactical execution.
Analyze and translate performance data into clear business insights using tools like Google Analytics and AI-powered reporting.
Leverage AI/LLM tools to draft communications, synthesize data, and accelerate deliverables (reports, briefs, content outlines), enabling more strategic client engagement.
Set and manage expectations: resolve discrepancies between client goals and campaign capabilities with clarity and professionalism.
Stay sharp on trends in digital marketing and AI, educating clients on relevant opportunities that align with their objectives.
Build lasting partnerships by demonstrating Clix’s commitment to client growth through proactive service, exceptional communication, education, and value creation.
Success measured by client satisfaction, retention, growth, efficiency, and account margin.
Requirements
4–6 years of client-facing experience in a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
Proven ability to retain and grow accounts through upsell/cross-sell, not just maintain them.
Digital marketing fluency across SEO, PPC, paid social, CRO, and analytics — able to speak to strategy and frame recommendations.
Familiarity with SEO and PPC delivery in an agency setting is critical.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in paid or organic search strategy, strategic account planning, and consultative upselling.
Strong business acumen: able to tie digital performance to business outcomes and present value clearly to executives.
Executive presence: polished, confident, and credible in front of clients.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Comfort using AI and digital tools to analyze data, surface insights, and strengthen recommendations.
Must reside in the Greater St. Louis area for occasional in-person client meetings.
