About the role

  • Lead the corporate FP&A organization including planning, forecasting, budgeting, annual and long-range planning, and business performance reporting
  • Serve as strategic partner to the SVP of FP&A, CFO, and executive leadership to inform investment decisions and resource allocation
  • Drive the financial operating model including bookings, revenue, ARR, cash flow, and profitability metrics
  • Provide analysis and guidance on key business drivers, SaaS KPIs, market trends, and operational efficiency opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally and build a strategic finance team to enable decision support
  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual planning, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly materials for internal and external stakeholders across financial and strategic reporting cycles
  • Develop and mentor a small team, fostering analytical excellence and accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and tools (Adaptive Insights/Anaplan, Workday, Tableau/Power BI)
  • Support corporate development, M&A due diligence, and integration from a financial planning perspective

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience
  • 7+ years in FP&A leadership roles including experience in capital markets
  • Strong background in enterprise software, SaaS, or other recurring revenue business models
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV) and ability to own ARR reporting cycle
  • Proven ability to build complex financial models and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with executive audiences
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling FP&A functions in a growth environment
  • Experience driving automation of reporting/forecasting processes
  • Familiarity with valuation concepts and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial systems and planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite)
  • Strong command of Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
