About the role
- Take ownership of the SEO strategy and execution for domains in the iGaming vertical
- Lead SEO strategy for iGaming projects and drive performance improvements
- Conduct keyword research and map strategies to high-value opportunities
- Execute technical SEO improvements (site architecture, indexing, canonical/redirect management)
- Drive on-page optimization: metadata, content structure, internal linking
- Oversee off-page SEO, including anchor strategy and link acquisition campaigns
- Perform competitor and market benchmarking to maintain an edge in rankings
- Collaborate closely with Head of SEO, developers, content writers and editors to ensure iGaming compliance and SEO value
- Monitor performance (traffic, rankings, conversions) and refine strategies based on industry trends and algorithm updates
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on SEO experience, preferably in iGaming/affiliate SEO
- Strong technical SEO knowledge (redirects, canonical fixes, hreflang, indexing issues)
- Proven track record of ranking competitive keywords in gambling, crypto, or finance
- Expertise in link-building strategy and anchor text distribution
- Data-driven mindset with advanced use of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC)
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Nice to have: Experience across multiple markets (US, DE)
- Nice to have: Understanding of gambling compliance requirements
