About the role
- Develop and maintain MicroStrategy artifacts including attributes, facts, transformations, filters, prompts, reports, documents and dashboards
- Design and develop schema and intelligent cubes; work on cube reports and MSTR iCube automation
- Optimize performance of MicroStrategy and SQL queries
- Use MicroStrategy REST API and Library for integrations and automation
- Work in Agile development environment using BitBucket, Git and Lightspeed
- Collaborate with distributed teams across different locations and time zones
- Apply analytical thinking and data analysis methodologies to inform recommendations and decisions
- Deliver quality and timely service that impacts team and closely related teams
Requirements
- 6-9+ years of experience in MicroStrategy Development
- Experience in designing and developing schema
- Experience in developing schema objects such as Attributes, Facts and Transformations
- Expertise in creating public objects such as filters, prompts and reports
- Experience in document and dashboard development
- Experience in working on intelligent cubes and cube reports
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse
- Experience in performance optimization in MSTR and SQL queries
- Experience in Agile development (BitBucket, Git, Lightspeed)
- Experience in MSTR iCube automation
- Good knowledge of MSTR REST API and Library
- Good to have experience in MSTR version upgrade
- Experience working with teams spread across different locations/time zones
- Skills: MSTR developer with experience in SQL and Data Warehousing
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
