About the role
- Support development and management of a dedicated internal KYC program at Citi, working with KYC Operations, Technology partners and supporting functions to set book of work priorities
- Lead business transformation and reengineering on multiple large-scale engagements and provide on-the-ground support and leadership for key reengineering initiatives
- Gather requirements, support operational readiness and testing for assigned enhancements
- Coordinate activities of the project team, identify necessary resources and develop schedules to meet completion deadlines
- Document project progress, required artifacts and process workflows associated with projects
- Create, maintain and present materials to stakeholders
- Support project management activities such as planning, risk and issue resolution, and dependency management
- Identify potential process opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Interface with all levels of the organization and establish close working relationships
- Assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 5-8 years relevant experience in Program/Project management in medium to large scale initiative engagements
- AML/KYC experience preferred
- Possesses strong analytical skills and has high attention to details
- Innovative thinker that will challenge the status quo
- Strong written/verbal communications skills; must be concise, articulate, and persuasive
- Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions and provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders
- Able to influence key decisions using factual data points
- Highly motivated, organized and methodical; logical, analytic and rational
- Demonstrated team player
- Ability to use project management tools and KYC systems
- Ability to comprehend new technology strengths and weaknesses to match technology to business solutions
- Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince or equivalent) desired
