About the role
- Senior Manager to lead program operations for Compliance Strategy & Operations and Corporate Compliance, reporting to the Head of Compliance Strategy & Operations (AVP).\n
- Oversee audit and exam responses, budget and hiring, process improvement, and related activities across Compliance.\n
- Partner with change management, program governance, and other leaders; design and implement operational processes.\n
- Ideal candidate: strategic, tactical, collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset; ability to roll up sleeves and anticipate needs; comfortable with ambiguity.\n
- Responsibilities include coordinating annual audit exams, RFIs, relationships with auditors, maintaining audit logs, and driving audit findings to resolution.\n
- Manage staffing and budgeting; hiring progress; three direct reports; budget and vendor contracts management.\n
- Execute process improvements; inventory existing processes; explore automation; lead initiatives like updating the Operational Risk Profile and RC SAs.\n
- Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or equivalent; 10+ years; Bachelor's preferred; CRCM/CAMS/PMP preferred.\n

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience\n
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field\n
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance, risk, or business operations within financial services or a similarly regulated industry\n
- Proven experience in strategy development, operations management, or enterprise risk/compliance program execution\n
- Strong understanding of compliance program pillars (training, issues management, risk assessment, third-party risk, etc.)\n
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills; able to tailor messaging for executive audiences\n
- Strong executive writing skills for senior audiences focused on messaging, clarity, and precision\n
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence across all levels of the organization\n
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines\n
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, PMP) preferred\n
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations tied to enterprise compliance programs, governance, and risk frameworks\n
- Experience with management reporting/reporting routines (excluding Board reporting), regulatory exams, or senior-level stakeholder management\n
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities
