About the role
- Preparing and filing the SEC reports such as the 10-Ks and 10-Qs
- Preparing the Equity Rollforward table as well as the equity-based footnotes and disclosures
- Preparing the cash flow statement per US GAAP requirements
- Supporting and contributing to the processes related to the quarterly Earnings Press Release
- Collaborating and actively partnering with the cross-functional teams within the Company regarding the financial reporting processes
- Managing the flow of information and supporting documentation received from various cross-functional teams
- Presenting external reporting requirements, relevant communications, and analyses to the accounting and finance teams
- Reviewing and developing reporting capabilities and processes for external reporting
- Implementing best in practice reporting processes across the organization
- Evaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company’s external reporting process
- Researching and understanding new reporting requirements and building out sustainable and scalable processes
- Performing peer benchmarking of disclosures
- Liaising with external auditors to facilitate the audit process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting and accounting
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP/SEC accounting and reporting requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Workiva and other financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to adapt to change
- Experience with SOX 404 and internal control over financial reporting
